中国方胜象征传承华夏文明。“2002”数字为主体结构,突出旅游文化节的举办年,利于国际传播。“天坛”和“马”的形象,体现举办地为中国北京,时间为中国的马年。色彩为“红、黄、蓝、绿、黑”多色,体现文化节间世界多民族文化的汇合交融。
